Wright Warr, Jr.

Mr. Wright Warr, Jr., 84 of Nashville passed away Friday, June 19, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Warr was born January 18, 1936 to the late Wille Wright Warr, Sr, and Edith Dubose Warr. He was a member of the First Bapitst Church Nashville, a lifetime scout, and a mason in Louisiana. Mr. Warr retired from the Ford Company after 34 years.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Manelle Warr of Nashville; children, Mark (Sandra) Warr of Villa Rica, GA, Christopher Warr of Nashville, Terry (John) Marlar of Florence, AL, and Stephanie Warr of Nashville; grandchildren, Jeremy, Cole, Geffory, Katie, Cain, and Kevin; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Richard Warr of Locust Grove, GA and one sister, Kay Whalen of MI. Mr. Warr preceded in death by two brothers, Van Warr, and Ronnie Warr. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
