Willie Gaskins Obituary

Mrs. Willie Mae Gaskins, 83 of Lakeland passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Gaskins was born April 1, 1938 to the late James Leonard Smith & Nancy Cruse Smith. She was a member of Oak Grove Freewill Baptist. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to casinos, fishing, crocheting, talking to her friends, and rocking in her chair.

Survivors include her son, Michael L. Gaskins of Lakeland; daughter, Jackie (Jerry) Baumgartner of Jacksonville, FL; two grandchildren, Danny and Jerry (Carrie) Baumgarther; seven great grandchilden and two great great grandchildren. Mrs. Gaskins was preceded in death by her husband, LaFon Gaskins.
