Tony Cumbus

Tony Cumbus, 47 of Hahira passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023. Tony was born December 4, 1975 in Ocala, Florida. Tony served in the United States Army. He did 2 tours to Iraq (Operation Iraqi Freedom) with the 3rd Infantry Division during the invasion of Iraq. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. Tony enjoyed riding motorcycles, and especially loved working on trucks with his daddy. He loved spending time with his family and kids, enjoying life.

Survivors include his wife, Jesseca Cumbus of Hahira; children, Tony (Kaycee) Cumbus of Statenville, Kody (Victoria) Brooker of Germany, Christopher Cumbus of Hahira, Shelby Simmons of Adel, Morgan Simmons of Hahira, Christian Cumbus of Nashville, Lucas Cumbus of Hahira, Valen Cumbus of Hahira, and Jackson Cumbus of Hahira; grandchildren, Aveleigh Johnson, Ezra Simmons, and Halleigh Simmons; father, Randy Cumbus of Douglas; mother, Mary Beth Williamson of Ocala, FL; brother, Cory (Brianna) Cumbus of Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina; and sister, Ally Cumbus of Adel. Tony was preceded in death by his daughter, Noah Presli Cumbus.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Long Bridge Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at Purvis Funeral Home.
