Tanya Williams Griner, 37 of Valdosta passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022. Tanya was born December 17, 1984 in Valdosta, GA. She attended Calvary Baptist Church. Tanya enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing go carts, and bowling. She loved her family and spending time with her girls.

Survivors include her father, David Williams of Valdosta; daughters, Chasity Griffin of Valdosta, Ansley Griffin of Fl, Alexis Williams of Valdosta, and Bentley Lawson of Vidalia, GA. her uncles, Gene (Terra) Williams of Valdosta, and John Williams of Valdosta; paternal grandfather, Gene (Karen) Williams of Valdosta; and nieces, Tami Williams, Jaki Wiliams, and Geni Ray Williams. Tanya was preceded in death by her mother, Tamara "Tammy "Williams.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Cornith Baptist Church with Pastor Yancey Hartman and Rev. Stoney Gaskins officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Chad Griffin, Gene Williams, Little Matt Eakin, Larry Mullis, Jeff Lawson, and Justin Sims.
