Susan Eatman Taylor, 73 of Valdosta passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020. Sue was born on August 25, 1946 in Brooks County to the late Gordon Turner and Erline Lindsey Eatman. She died peacefully at her home after a long courageous battle with cancer. Sue is survived by three sons, Bob Taylor of Melbourne Fl, John Taylor of Tallahassee, Fl, and Clint Taylor; and daughter, Amanda Taylor & life partner, Jeff Henley of Valdosta; grandsons, Jack Taylor of Tallahassee, Fl, and Matthew Atteberry of Valdosta; granddaughter, Katherine Littlejohn of Asheville, N C; three sisters, Sandra English and Woody Eakin of Hartwell, GA, Kaye and Drew Smith of Valdosta, and Laura and Jim Cranford of Branford FL; and her beloved dachshund, Lilly Ann.
Sue retired after 17 years as the Transportation Director of LARC in Valdosta. She also worked for many years for Winn Dixie as the manager of the Cookie Shack outside of Crackin Good Bakeries.
Sue's wishes were to be cremated with no formal services held. She was loved by many and will be missed. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Humane Society of Valdosta, 1740 West Gordon St., Valdosta, GA 31601.
