Shirley Hardy

Mrs. Shirley Hardy, 78 of Adel passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Southwell Health & Rehab in Adel. Mrs. Hardy was born June 5, 1942 to the late Willie & Evie Lowery Montgomery. She was a loving Mom to all her children and was a strong person.

Survivors include her daughters, Dee Hardy of Nashville, Marsha (Steve) Ruffin of Thomaston, GA, and Candy Sturdivant of Sparks; grandchildren, Rebecca (Jon) Richardson of Sparks, Amber Meeler of Sparks, and Tina Meeler of Sparks; great grandchildren, Mikayla Meeler, Jaiden Deberry, Nevaeh Gordon; sisters, Pam (Don) Williams of Lenox, Debbie (Wayne) Deason of Adel, and Betty Daughtrey of Adel; and special friend, Robert Cerise of Adel. Mrs. Hardy was preceded in death by her son, Gary Hardy; and daughter, Linda Sue Hardy.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3:00 p.m.at Purvis Funeral Home with Bro. Don Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Wilkes Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
