Obituary
Shane Holloway, 48 of Adel passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at South Georgia Medical Center. Shane was born December 1, 1974 in Ringgold, Ga to the late Donald & Irene Rowe Holloway. He loved music and singing karaoke, and was also an avid gamer online. Shane was a major GA Bulldog fan and was state horseshoe champion for 2 years in the state of Georgia.
Survivors include his cousins, Nancy Hogsed of Rossville, Tammy (Brian) Thomason of Canton, Billie (Greg) Jetter of Ringgold, and Angerleak (John) Kile of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; friends, Uncle Robert Cerise; Nicki Graham Burt. Shane was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents, Nelson T. & Ethel Fowler Rowe; paternal grandparents, Grady & Olga Meyer Holloway; and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Mays officiating. The interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery Annex. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at Purvis Funeral Home.
