Mrs. Sarah Crevasse, 93 of Quitman passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Archbold Medical Center. Mrs. Crevasse was born May 9, 1927 to the late Dewey and Lula Allan Jones. She was a member of Morrison Baptist Church, Garden Club and Pebble Hill Community Club. Mrs. Crevasse wrote for the Quitman Free Press and she loved fishing with Pop.
Survivors include her children, Gerald (Lynn) Spencer of Quitman, Don (Fresie) Spencer of Quitman, Tim (Connie) Spencer of Quitman, and Jayne (Bryan) Exum of Quitman; grandchildren, Kimberly (Steve) Clark, Kristina (Chris) Morris, Case (Amanda) Spencer, Dusty (Amy) Spencer, Kelly (Michael) Barr, Ashlee (William) Gruno, Everett “Scoot” (Kimberly) Spencer, Savannah Brogdon, William (Taylor) Spencer, Colton Exum, and Tallon Exum; great grandchildren, Grace Morris, Jack Morris, Griffin Spencer, Russ Spencer, Hank Spencer, Henderson Spencer, Dylan Barr, Spencer Barr, Emilee Gruno, Adlee Grauno, Maybree Gruno, Henry Gruno, Kylie Spencer, Baylie Jenkinson, Lane Spencer, and Hunter Brogdon. Mrs. Crevasse was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Crevasse and her former spouse, Samuel Clifton Spencer; great granddaughter, Harlow Spencer; brother, Thoral Jones; sisters, Zelma Henry, and Maude Bell.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Baptist Church with Pastor Ray Copeland and Pastor Paul Coleman officiating.
