Sandra Faye McKenzie

Sandra B. McKenzie, 67 of Hahira passed away at South Georgia Medical Center on August 12 2020. She loved to be with family and playing Pokemon Go. She was an amazing wife mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. Sandra never met anyone she couldn't love or open her heart to.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie L. McKenzie; mother, Lula M. Parr and her father, Henry H. Bennett; and by Ann Harris.

Survivors include her three sons, Herbert (Candice) Harris of Valdosta, David (Louella) Harris of Port Orange, FL, and Jamie McKenzie of Jacksonville,Fl; daughter, Christi (Eugene) Cannata of Peachtree City Ga; three sisters, Edna Mae Stains of Lakeland, Gloria (Andres) Felipe of Hahira, and Lizzie Barnard of Lake Park; two brothers, Carl E. Bennett and Alan D. Conger of Valdosta, and Samuel A. Parr "Jr" of Albany. Mrs. Sandra had 23 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. She had numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, she also had a beloved puppy "Angel" whom she loved.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Wilkes Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Saturday afternoon from 5-7 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
