Sandra Davis

Sandra Giddens Davis, 53 of Nashville passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Davis was born May 7, 1968 to Coy Cecil Giddens and Bessie Lee Jewell Purvis. She worked at Nashville Mills for 15 years before she became an insurance agent with Liberty National for 11 years and retired. Mrs. Davis was member of Church of God in Nashville, and took care of her four children. Mrs. Davis was a loving mother, sister and daughter.

Survivors include her children, Savannah (Larry) Warren of Alapaha, Richard (Megan) Davis of Nashville, Katie (Nick) Jennings of Hahira, and Matthew King of Nashville; grandchildren, Presleigh King, Hailynn King, Kinsley Hood, and Aria Davis; former spouse, Thomas Richard Davis of Adel; father, Cecil Giddens of Enigma; boyfriend, Dwayne Benefield of Nashville; brothers, Roger (Stacy) Giddens of Adel, Terry (Becky) Willis of Enigma, and Daniel Purvis of Live Oak, FL; sisters, Mary Ann Robinette (Stanley Williams) of Alapaha, Margaret (Barry) Young of Tifton, and Teresa (Donald) Esco of Enigma; several nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Lee Giddens; brother, Coy Cecil Giddens, Jr; and sister, Margie Jan Giddens.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Willacoochee City Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
