Sammy Johnson

Mr. Sammy Johnson, 75 of Lenox passed away Friday, September 1, 2023 at Southwell Medical Center. Mr. Johnson was born June 25, 1948 to the late Herman & Marjorie Griffis Johnson. He attended Lenox Christian Fellowship when he could and enjoyed working in his garden, flowers and fishing. He liked to watch his cats playing and watching t.v.

Survivors include his brothers, Jackie (Joyce) Johnson of Sumner, and Randy Johnson of Lenox; and sisters, Brenda Luke of Lenox, Jean (Billy) Green of Lenox, Louise (Gerald) Jones of Lenox, Susie (Jerry) Griffin of Patterson, GA, Debbie (Roger) Bowen of Danville, GA, and Elaine (Tommy) Meeler of Sparks. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his sister - in-law, Barbara Johnson, and brother-in-law, James Luke.

A graveside service will be held Monday, September 4, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jimmie Hinson and Rev. Charlene Griffin officiating.
