Robert Wesley Maughon

Robert Wesley Maughon, "Baby Wes", went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2021. Born November 3, 2020, he was 6 months old. He was the son of Christopher Irvin Maughon, Jr. and Kaitlyn Peach Maughon of Adel, Georgia. The family is a member of Evergreen Baptist Church.

Baby Wes laughed and smiled, dimples always shining, throughout his 6 months; bringing joy and happiness to everyone he touched.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Riley Maughon, and Chloe Maughon. Paternal Grandparents: Christopher and Penny Maughon, Sr. Gallatin, Tennessee; Frank and Rhonda Carter, Adel, Georgia. Maternal Grandparents are Wesley and Sheila Peach, of Moultrie, GA. Great Grandparents: Helen Peach, Moultrie, GA, Brian and Gail Hildebrand, Loganville, GA, Bob Scott, Adel, GA, Gayle Burgess, Moultrie, GA, June Carter, Lake Park, GA, Evelyn H. Glaze, Sparks, GA, Patricia Harrison, Newnan, GA. Aunts and Uncles: Elizabeth McCumber, Daniel and Kaitlin McCumber, Charley Carter, Brandon and Liz Peach, Jake and Harley Peach, Samantha Emory, Sara Anetrella, Michael and Jessica Davis, and Trey Davis.

He is also survived by numerous cousins and other family members who loved Baby Wes very much.

He was preceded in death by his Great Grandparents, Peggy Scott, Darrell Burgess, and Thomas Peach, Jack W. Carter.

Visitation is at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Baptist Church, with the service at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Mike Brannon officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Daniel McCumber, Jake Peach, Brandon Peach, and Brian Thompson.
