Richard Lee Rector

Mr. Richard Lee Rector, 79 of Pearson passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mr. Rector was born July 23, 1942 to the late Willie & Olive Kirby Rector. He was a member of the Cornerstone Church in Pearson. Mr. Rector enjoyed drinking milk and eating ice cream, watching his stuffed animals that sings, spending time with his family, sitting outside and talking to his neighbors, listening to his Christian radio, and watching John Wayne.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Rector of Pearson; sons, Julian (Amber) Rector of Douglas, Ricky (April) Rector of Douglas, Daniel Humber of Adel, and Timothy (Heather) Weldon of Milledgeville; daughter, Ambe (David) Bennett of Adel; 21 grandchildren; two great grandchilden; brothers, David (Penny) Rector of Fl, and Bob Rector of Ohio; and one sister Beverly Rector of Fl. Mr. Rector was preceded in death by two brothers, Hoss Rector, and Edward Rector.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.at Cornerstone Church in Pearson with Pastor Allen Arowood officiating.
