Richard Bailey

Richard Bailey, 57 of Ocilla passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023 at his home. Richard was born March 1, 1966 in Portland Oregon to the late Leland Jorgenson and Joyce Bailey. He loved going to church, where he was a member at The Well. Richard enjoyed playing video games, and fishing. He was very generous and loved to cook and feed people. He loved his family and dearly loved his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy Bailey of Ocilla; daughters, Sonya Rowe of Washougal, Washington, and Nicole (Jake) Hendren of Weippe, Idaho; sons, Jason (Katherine) Porter of Fitzgerald, Joshua (Aime) Porter of Winter Haven, Fl, Jared (Renee) Porter of Grant Falls, Washington, and Joseph (Brittany) Porter of Lakeland, Fl; 19 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Joseph Wright of Portland, Oregon, and Ricky Bailey of Portland, Oregon; and one sister, Dawn Wright of Portland, Oregon. Richard was preceded in death by his father-in-law, George Raymond Lisenby.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at The Well, 209 West Polk St. Auburndale, Florida 33823 with Rev. Alvin Taylor officiating. The family welcomes everyone to join them after the service for food and fellowship.
