Ralph Lee Deen, 81 of Adel, was born October 17, 1940. In this earthly journey, his golden heart stopped beating when Our Father in Heaven announced his Departure Time taking him to his eternal home early Friday morning, March 25th . Ralph was a hugely talented, creative Radio Station Operating Professional for many years. For the past 35 years, he owned and operated Deen Advertising, Inc. He created and directed innovative advertising for many types of clients. He brought characters to life with his radio and TV commercials. He loved his work. He always said, “If you enjoy what you do, you never have to work a day in your life.
He walked through this life’s journey with a kind, generous heart doing his best to always do the right thing. His life was a living example of the Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32, “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, compassionate, and forgiving one another as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven you”. Ralph was indeed the most beautiful soul.
He will always be remembered for the stories he had to tell and the humorous sayings or funny jokes that were always at-the-ready. We’ll never forget all the ways he loved us, loved life and made us smile. At the beginning of each new day, he was blessed with vision to see the best of things to come, wisdom to make good decisions, and most of all, faith that The Father in Heaven was walking with him every step of the way.
In the weeks, months and years ahead EVERY-TIME his family & friends gather for food, fun and fellowship, we’ll honor him. We’ll celebrate a life well lived. We’ll be grateful for the foundations of love, responsibility, trust and faith he imparted to us all. We are all better because of him. We wish him well and bless him until we meet again.
To honor his passing, the family ask that you consider doing a random act of kindness in his remembrance.
