Philip "Stump" Baker

Mr. Philip "Stump" Baker, 68 of Quitman passed away Saturday, March 28, 2021 at Presbyterian Home, Quitman. Mr. Baker was born July 18, 1952 to the late M I Baker & Patricia Slade Baker. He graduated in 1970 from Brooks County High School and attended ABAC and VSU afterwards. He worked at Beech Island Knitting in sales and later owned rental property before retiring. 

Survivors include his brother, Larry (Dianne) Baker of  Andalusia, AL; niece Ashley Baker of AL; and a special friend and caregiver, Kathy Koder.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery.
