Peter Portz Obituary

Mr. Peter Charles Portz, 97 of Quitman passed away Friday, September 4, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Portz was born June 17, 1923 to the late Bertram and Margaret McKenna Portz. He served in the United States Navy and retired from AT&T as a marketing director.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Wagener; daughter, Colleen (Larry) Griner; granddaughter, Reagan (Chris) Hall; great grandchildren, Caleb Hall and Ethan Hall.

A private graveside service will be held Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christian Light School in Jacksonville, Fl or the St. Judes Children's Hospital.
