Mrs. Peggy Ann Warrick, 70 of Pavo passed away peacefully at her home in Pavo, GA on Monday, January 27, 2020. Peggy was born May 23, 1949 in Quitman to Virgil Jason Dowdy and Blanche Sutton Dowdy. She was the second of four children.
Her family and friends are having a celebration of her life on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at her daughter's home in Moultrie.
She was married in 1964 to Willie Carter of Thomasville. Together they had two children, a daughter, Tina Ann Carter in 1968 and a son Willie Carter, Jr. in 1971. The couple divorced in 1979. Peggy later married Clifford Warrrick on March 30, 2001. Clifford has two children from a previous marriage, a daughter, Lauren Warrick and a son, Brett J. Warrick, both of New Jersey.
Peggy will always be remembered for saying that she was "FINE AS A FROGS HAIR SPLIT FOUR WAYS' and her favorite pastime of playing video games way into the night. She will be sorely missed.
Survivors include her brothers, Virgil Joe Dowdy of Seguin, Tx, Robert Dale Dowdy of Seguin Tx; her children, daughter, Tina Carter Brumblow and her fiancée John of Moultrie; son, Willie (Robin) Carter, Jr. of Tampa Fl; stepdaughter, Lauren Warrick (Scotty) of New Jersey; stepson, Brett J. (Jennifer) Warrick of New Jersey; grandchildren, Melanie Renee (Seth) Rollins of Oklahoma City, OK, Thomas Dylan Brumblow of Athens, Carolyn Paige Carter of Coolidge, Chelcy Kayana Baker of Thomasville, Angela Danna of Tampa, and Emily Danna Howard of Seattle Washington; great grandchildren, Lochlan Thomas Rollins and Lincoln Wesley Rollins both of Oklahoma City, OK, Kayana Paige Locklear of Coolidge, Braxton Reid Wilson of Thomasville and Olivia Warrick of New Jersey. Mr. Warrick was preceded in death by her brother, Herman Eugene Dowdy.
