Mrs. Peggy Walker, 84 of Adel passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Walker was born January 12, 1936 to the late Clyde & Ruby Cook Swearingen.
Survivors include her son, James (Tesha) Walker of Adel; grandchildren, Heather Walker, and Wesley McGill; great grandchildren, Jace Walker, Marlee Walker, and Brianna MaGill; great great grandson, Jaxson Walker; brothers, Frank Swearingen of Adel, and Wayne Thompson of Sparks; sisters, Bonnie Holley of Adel, Gail Stevens of Nashville, Wanda Childers of N.C. and Susan Manders of Tifton. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Walker; children, Larry Walker, Ricky Walker, and Vicky Walker; granddaughter, Angela Manning; brothers, Clyde Swearingen, and Lewis Thompson.
