Paula Martin

Paula Martin, 71, of Adel, passed away Friday, November 10, 2023, at her home. She was born in Perry, Ga on August 13, 1952, to the late Cecil Paul Martin & Jo Quida Luke Martin. She attended Cook County High School where she was a dedicated member of the marching band and also play on the first women's tennis team. After school, she spent 12 years as a devout military wife. Following her many years of marriage, she decided to go her own way and earned her degree in nursing in Pennsylvania. Paula was very passionate about her work in the nursing field. She was blessed to enjoy her career in many places, including Pennsylvania, Maine, Arizona, and Georgia before her retirement. In her free time, Paula was an avid tennis player in her younger years, but her entire life she especially enjoyed playing games of all kinds; from board games to computer games.

 Paula leaves behind her companion of many years, Helen Pollock of Adel; daughter, Amy (Jason) Stein of Dover, PA; grandchildren, Colt Stein of East Berlin, PA, and Clay Stein of Dover, PA. She is preceded in death by her parents.
