Baby Mitchell Joe Linkenhoger
Mitchell Joe Linkenhoger, born December 6, 2022 passed away peacefully at age 2 months on February 1, 2023. Mitchell was the son of Mikael & Logan Linkenhoger and younger brother to Anabelle Linkenhoger of Lee, Florida.
Mitchell is survived by his parents and older sister along with his grandparents Rick and Maria Linkenhoger of San Antonio, TX, Jim and Jana Petrey of Dixie, GA, and John David and Abigail Sowell of Dixie, GA. Mitchell was passed gently to the arms of his preceded great grandparents Jose` Ricardo Morales Da`vila, Linda Martin Petrey, James Brewer Pope, and Sue Hobbs Pope.
During his short time on earth, Mitchell loved being held closely by his family and receiving hugs and kisses from his big sister. Mitchell was called on by God to provide a miracle to another family as his heart valves were donated in hopes to be received by another baby in need.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Lee First Baptist Church in Lee, Florida with Rev. Lucas Morgan officiating. Following the funeral service will be a graveside ceremony at Rosewood Cemetery in Barwick, GA with Rev. Ryan West officiating. The family will be receiving friends Friday evening from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Maxwell-Purvis Funeral Home in Quitman, GA.
