Mr. Michael "Mike" Suggs, Sr, 64 of Quitman passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 at Archbold Medical Center. He was born June 4, 1958 in Lakeland, Ga to the late Arlie & Lola Suggs. His number one thing was his grandchildren. Mike was a workaholic, but at times he would enjoy going hunting and bass fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Sybil Suggs of Quitman; sons, Wayne (Jessica) Suggs of Maryland, and Michael (Bonnie) Suggs of GA; grandchildren, Caleb Suggs, Davis Suggs, Joshua Suggs, and Matthew Suggs; Mike is also survived by his brothers and sisters Steve Suggs (Louise) Valdosta, Joyce (Webby) Ogelsby of Corydon Indiana,
Wayne Suggs (Phyllis) Lake Park, Ronnie Suggs (Pat) Enigma Georgia, Carrol Suggs (Karen) Jessup Georgia, Bryan Suggs (Rhonda) Lakeland Georgia, Kathy (Carlos) Berger Daytona Florida.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Maxwell - Purvis Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Blow officiating. Interment will follow at Elam Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will be receiving friends two hour prior to the service.
