Mark Ray

Mark Ray, 57 of Sparks passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Mark was born November 26, 1966 in Quitman to the late Roy M. Ray, Jr. and Delores Ray. He was a member of Lenox Christian Fellowship. Mark graduated from Berrien High School i n1985 and became employed with Berrien Co. EMS and Deep South EMS. He served as an EMT in 1989 and a Paramedic in 1993. Mark was also a CPR Instructor, First Aid Instructor, and CERT Instructor. 

Survivors include his very special friend & caretaker, Misty Robinson; stepson, Christian Sier; nephews, Justin Brown, and Logan Ray; great nephew, Roy Brown; several cousins; special friends, Sheila Levans, and Sabrina Temples. Mark was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Tracie Ray.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Charlene Griffin and Rev. Jimmie Hinson officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
