Obituary
Ellen Louise Barnes, 76 of Nashville passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Berrien Co. Nursing Home. Louise was born December 17, 1946 to the late Henry Irvin Ford & Willie Adeline Caldwell. She enjoyed dancing and loved her family. Louise was a great mother, grandmother, and a great grandmother. She did what she could to help them and always told them every time on the phone, "kiss those babies for me."
Survivors include her son, Manuel Rendon of Nashville; daughters, Donna Whittington of Nashville, and Richelle Watts of Reno, Nevada; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; brothers, Mike Ford of Indianapolis, IN, and Hank Ford of Georgetown, KY; and one sister, Brenda Doughty of Columbus, OH. Louise was preceded in death by her previous spouse, Manuel Rendon, Sr, and Walter Barnes; daughter, Laurie Delaney Harper; and sister, Judy Milendaugh.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Ford officiating.
