Leroy Collier

Mr. Leroy Collier, 71 of Lenox passed away Monday, January 6, 2020 at Tift Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Collier was born October 24, 1948 to the late Robert & Sara Ann Barber Collier.  He worked at Avondale before retiring and attended Faith Ministry Church of Nashville.  

Survivors include his daughters, Vickie (Scott) Spires of Omega, and Jeanine (Frank) McCormick of Enigma; grandchildren, Kandice Spires, Bradley Spires, Chris McCormick, Michaela Reilly, and Alea Spires; great grandchild, River McCormick; sister, Claudine Bennett of Fl.; and former spouse, Shirley Collier Walker of Omega.  Mr. Collier was preceded in death by his son, DeWayne Collier, and sister, Helen Exum.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Simmons, and Rev. Bill Plymel officiating.  Interment will follow at Lenox Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home. The family will be gathering at the residence of Claudine Bennett, 23 Williams Rd, Lenox, GA
