Lenora Gibson

Mrs. Lenora Folds Gibson, 85 of Adel passed away Friday, July 31, 2020 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Gibson was born January 27, 1935 to the late Aubry Coleman "A.C." Folds, and Lelia Mae Watson Folds. Mrs. Gibson retired from Metal Products and attended Community Calvary Holiness Church.

Survivors include her husband, Gene Gibson of Adel; daughter, Cheryl Griffin of Warwick, GA; grandchildren, Connie Griffin Medders, Kim Griffin Harrell, Kristi Griffin, and Kyle "Bubba" (Jessica) Robinson; great grandchildren, Katie Robinson, Adam Robinson, Missy Robinson, and Ramsey Harrell; step grandchildren, Ashton Black, Jamey Lyn Medders, Matt Harrell, and Summer Harrell; two brothers, Junior Folds of Adel and Elton Folds of Adel; sister, Patricia Chambless of Adel; several nieces & nephews. Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by one daughter, Missy Robinson Carter; grandson, Adam Robinson; two brothers, Wyman Folds, M J Folds.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Community Calvary Holiness Church with Rev. Lawton Watson, Rev. Brad Fuller, and Rev. Kyle Taft officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home. Please observe social distancing.
