Layne Williams

Layne Logan Williams, 30 of Chattanooga, TN passed away December 17, 2022. She was born November 25, 1992 in Valdosta, GA. She loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and hiking. Layne liked playing soccer in the yard with her dog, Patsy and her cat Tom. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and co-workers. Her smile was so beautiful that it would light up a room and had a heart of gold. Layne is loved by many and will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.

Survivors include her mother Catherine Williams of Lake Park; father, L. V. Fiege; fiancé, John Cass; brothers, Bryce Williams (Emily Byrd) of Lake Park, Chaz Williams of Fargo North Dakota, Ryan Williams of Lake Park, and Konnr Williams of Lake Park; sisters, Bree Williams of Lake Park, and Harley Fiege of Lake Park; paternal grandmothers, Margie Wilson of Valdosta, and Linda Lightsey Sparks of Quitman; Aunts Tracy (Scooter) Sapp of Thomasville, Aunt Wendy Martinez of Valdosta, Aunt Candie Lee of Valdosta, and Aunt Brandy Thompson of Valdosta; Uncle Stewart Parker of Texas, and Uncle Daniel Parker of Knoxville, TN. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Maxwell - Purvis Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
