Obituary

Mr. Latrume Harrell, 89 of West Berrien passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022 at his residence. Latrume was born October 3, 1932 in Nashville to the late Thomas Howard & Tessie Colvin Harrell. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and had retired from Nashville Mills. Latrume enjoyed traveling and going to all gospel music events that he could go to. Everyone recongized him when he would drive by in his red truck. He was a humble loving, and praying man. The last sound you would hear before he went to sleep was him praying out loud to God.

Survivors include his children, Daniel (Janice) Harrell of West Berrien, and Janet (Johnny) Revels of West Berrien; grandchildren, Chase (Callie) Harrell, Julie (Mike) McDaniel, Bonnie (Bryan) Turner, Jason Hilley, Brennan (Mike) Timmins, and Grace (Jeff) Hobbs; great grandchildren, Colin McDaniel, Eamon McDaniel, Emma Hilley, Clara Hilley, and Carolina "Rowdy" Harrell; and one sister, Lawanna Montgomery of Sylvania, GA. Latrume was preceded in death by his first wife, Mattie Bryan Harrell, and his former wife, Margaret Lasseter Harrell; sister, Latrelle Prescott; and two brothers, Lamar Harrell, and Larue Harrell.

A private graveside service will be held.
