LaBeth Purvis

Mrs. LaBeth Purvis, 85 of Adel passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Fellowship Home at Brookside in Valdosta.  Mrs. Purvis was born June 4, 1934 to the late Albie & Texas Lillian O'Quinn Thomas.  She worked with the Cook County School System for many years and was a member of Westside Baptist Church for more than 45 years.

Survivors include her children, Delane (Lisa) Purvis of Bremen, GA, Leif (Regina) Purvis of Adel, Deanna (Greg) Hendley of Adel, and Amy (Chad) Bush of Adel; grandchildren, Bradley Purvis, Jacob Purvis, Hailey Purvis, Christian Purvis, Lucas Hendley, Gracie Hendley, Sadie Bush, and Emmie Bush; great grandchildren, Holly Purvis, Payton Purvis, and Layne Purvis.  Mrs. Purvis was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Purvis; son, Jeffrey Neil Purvis; grandson, Gabe Hendley; and seven siblings.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn City Cemetery with Rev. Scotty Mathis, and Rev. Johnny Hendley officiating.
