L V Taylor

Mr. L. V. Taylor, 80 of Adel passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at his residence. Mr. Taylor was born February 24, 1942 to the late Ellie & Angie Hesters Taylor. He worked with the Cook County Road Department before retiring. Mr. Taylor enjoyed fishing, gardening, and he also enjoyed hunting several years ago.

Survivors include his children, Maria Taylor of Adel, and Kevin Taylor of Adel; grandchildren, Austin (Wendy) Taylor of Adel, Selina (Jason) Woods of Adel, and Jennifer (Justin) Sadler of Adel; great grandchildren, Aubree Taylor, Rylee Griffin, Tyler Waters, Cayden Waters, Barrett Woods, Kinleigh Woods, Kyler Sadler, and Kilynn Sadler; brothers, Buie Taylor of Adel, and James Taylor of Adel; and sisters, Joyce Morrell of Lenox, and Eva Nell Adams of Moultrie. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Taylor, and Dewey Taylor; sisters, Wilma Nell Hall, Brenda Sue Spradley, and Audrey Holton; and daughter in law, Tanya Taylor.

Graveside service will be held Friday, August 12, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at Beulah Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. William Davis officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 to 1:00 at Purvis Funeral Home.
