Kenny Cowart

Kenneth "Kenny" Jackson Cowart, 63 of Adel passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center. Kenny was born October 15, 1958 to the late Rhudolph Charles Cowart, Sr & Robbie Nell Ray Cowart. He was a loving father and papa Kenny to his grandchildren, who he shared many fun adventures with. Kenny was a wise, hard working, and well respected man.

Survivors include his children, Jason (Alanna) Cowart of Fitzgerald, Keri (Brian) Reese of Fitzgerald, and Kristen Cowart of Fitzgerald; grandchildren, Allie Anna Cowart, Aubrey Cowart, Turner Reese, Taylor Reese, Anzleigh Reese, and Cole Cowart; fiance', Melanie Johnson; stepsons, Nathan Johnson, and Jackson Johnson; brother, Charles (Peggy) Cowart of Lakeland, and sister, Phyllis Cowart Lindsey of Moultrie. Kenny was preceded in death by his sister, Loretta Cowart Renfroe.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Sellars officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
