Mr. Kenneth Smith, 78 of Dixie passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Smith was born July 25, 1942 in Miami, Fl to the late Leroy Smith and Juanita Grace Hersman Smith. Mr. Smith was a member of Dixie United Methodist Church and a member of IBEW Local 349 for 40 years. He was owner of Smith Electric of Quitman. Mr. Smith loved to fish and hunt, and loved his family. He was very proud of his boys and their families.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Marie Smith of Dixie; children, Kenneth Leroy (Ashley Friday) Smith of Scottdale GA, Brian Christopher (Nicole Henson) Smith of Marietta, GA, and Judith Lynn (James) Applebaum of Ft. Meyers, FL; granddaughter, Allie Marie Smith; sister in law, Cora Jodi Lopez of Dixie; and brother in law, Clyde Lee Nothy of Dixie. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Reuben "Junie" Smith; and sister, Arlea Rae Naylor.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity or to Diixie United Methodist Church.
