Obituary

Mr. Junior Wade, 90 of Ty Ty, formerly of Lenox passed away Friday, October 2, 2020 at Pruitt Health. Mr. Wade was born February 13, 1930 to the late James Allison Wade, Sr, and Alice Slade Wade. He retired as a truck driver with CTI and was of the Primitive Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his sons, Johnny (Cindy) Wade of Lenox, Billy (Deborah) Wade of Sumner, and James (Pam) Wade of Ty Ty; grandchildren, Missy (Buddy) Griffin of Lenox, Lyndsay (Broc) Moore of Lenox, Susan (Glynn) Giddens, Jason (Shelena) Wade of Worth Co, Ted (Brandy) Wade of Ocilla, Loretta (Kyle) Kitchens of Ty Ty, Bonnie (Keith) Smith of Gainesville, GA, Cody (Taylor) Wade of Lenox, Laycee Wade of Ty Ty, Marina (Shane) Singletary of Tifton, and Darren (Kayla) Hubbell of Tifton; 23 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. Mr. Wade was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Nell Purvis Wade; and two brothers, James Luma Wade, and William Ashley Wade.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Lenox City Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
