Hazel McGinty Obituary

Mrs. Hazel Christine McGinty, 73 of Quitman passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. McGinty was born September 9, 1947 to the late Jesus Fernandez and Hazel Myrtle Glover. She served in the United States Navy and was a proofreader for a National Publishing Co. Mrs. McGinty was a talented artist who painted exquisite paintings of camellias.

Survivors include her brother, Duke Fernandez of Quitman; and sisters, Jeane Fernandez of Valdosta, Madelaine Fernandez of Valdosta, and Kathleen Fernandez of Valdosta.

A private service will be held.
