Hazel Manning

Mrs. Hazel Manning, 76 of Adel passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Manning was born April 22, 1944 to the late L. D. & Katie Lou Johnson Welch She was a member of Barwick Baptist Chuch and enjoyed gardening and the outdoors.  Mrs. Manning was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her children, Patsy (Curtis) Strickland of Adel, Paul (Amanda) Manning of Barney, and Michelle Manning of Barney; grandchildren, Victoria Brannon, Juana McGuire, Dustin Manning, Anthony Manning, Carlisa Manning, Skyler Manning, Kelin "K.J." Manning, Roman Welch, and Quinton Welch; great grandchildren, Chandler Brannon, Gabriella Brannon, Kaden Welch, Emmarie Welch, Sterling Slaughter, Hunter Ross, Ashlyn Ross, Bentley McGuire, Conner McGuire, Destin Manning, Kinsley Manning, Emily Williams, Jada Manning, Cotton Manning, Brenlyn Murphy, Dallas Manning, and Dakota Manning. Mrs. Manning was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Manning; grandson, Chandler Manning; two sisters, Emma Lou Bramlett, and Pauline Dixon; and several brothers.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Morrison Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. William Davis officiating. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
