Gwen Arrendale

Gwen Arrendale, 82 of Quitman passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at the Presbyterian Home Quitman. Gwen was born July 20, 1940 to the late Ervin & Marjorie Gay. She worked at the ASCS office in Brooks County for many years. Along with her late husband, John, they were pecan growers.

Survivors include her grandson, Chad (Jocelyn) Arrendale of Morven; great grandchildren, Karlie Arrendale, and Kelbie Arrendale; and daughter in law, Dianne Arrendale of Morven. Gwen was preceded in death by her husband, John Arrendale; son, who passed away in 2017, Ervin Arrendale; sister, LaRue Gay Norris; and brother, Charles Gay. 

Graveside services will be held Friday, August 5, 2022 at Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Shierling officiating.
