Gerald Hayes Obituary

Mr. Vernon Gerald Hayes, 83 of Adel passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Mr. Hayes was born September 5, 1937 to the late Rudolph and Ella Graddy Hayes.

Survivors include his children, Pamela (Barry) Medley of Adel, Jeffery (Tammy) Hayes of Adel, and Jerry Hayes of Valdosta; grandchildren, Patricia (Tim) Youmans, and Kyla (Billy) Turner; eight great grandchildren. Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Hayes; brother, Wayne Hayes; and sister, Carolyn Futch.

A graveside service will be held Friday, February 19, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Forrest Hill Church Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Boykin officiating.
