Ferron Hardy Obituary

Ferron Hardy, 56, of Sparks passed away at his home on December 29, 2023. Ferron was born in Valdosta on January 13, 1967, to Troy Hardy and the late Dorothy Casteen Hardy. As a young man, Ferron valiantly served his country in the U.S. Army as a military policeman. He was a patriot at heart and harbored immense love for his country. Ferron was a knowledgeable man, affectionately referred to as a “genius” who could fix anything. He held a lot of faith and was perceived as a very wise man. He possessed the biggest heart and was an absolute “teddy bear” to those around him. Everyone who came into contact with him adored him. Most importantly, he will be remembered for being a loving father, brother, son, papa, and overall family man. An evangelist at heart, he deepened his faith as an attendee of Beulah Holiness Baptist Church.

Ferron is survived by his dad, Troy (Janice) Hardy; loving son, Chris (Sam) Hardy of Dublin, GA; loving son and caretaker, Josh (Lindsey) Hardy of Sparks; his baby girl, Hannah (Timothy McDonald) of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Lee McDonald, Logan McDonald, and Aimee Thomason; brothers, Troy Dean (Susie) Hardy of Alabama, Jonathan (April) Hardy of Adel, Chad (Kayla) Hardy of Adel, and Waylon Hardy of Adel; sister, Mishelle (Greg) Guess of Valdosta; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mom, Dorothy Hardy.

Funeral services will be held at Beulah Holiness Baptist Church on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Jonathon Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Thursday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
