Born and raised in Adel, Mrs. McCranie had an unwavering dedication to her community. Her love for daylilies, which she shared with enthusiasm and passion, led her to become the first Daylily Queen of Adel. It was through her efforts and admiration for these beautiful flowers that Adel earned the honorable title of the "City of Daylilies." Her visionary spirit and relentless dedication to preserving the natural beauty of her hometown will continue to inspire generations to come.

Through her unwavering faith and deep conviction, she led many souls to find solace in the Lord. Her compassionate heart, coupled with her powerful testimony, left a mark on the lives she touched.

Outside of her church, she was an integral part of the Adel community. Whether it was lending a helping hand to a neighbor in need or enthusiastically participating in local events, she exemplified the true essence of community spirit. Her love for her town and its people knew no bounds, and her dedication to collective well-being served as a guiding light for all.
