Earl Wayne Simmons

Mr. Earl Wayne Simmons, 52 of Nashville passed away Monday, August 17, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Simmons was born June 7, 1968 to the late George and Mary Lou Rowan Simmons. He was a contractor and was a member of The Connection Church at Long Bridge.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Davenport Simmons of Nashville; sons, Edward Simmons of Nashville, and Billy Simmons of Nashville; sisters, Barbara Hillhouse of Nashville, Mandy (Russell) Vickers of Nashville, and Shelia (Marty) Schawb of Nashville; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Simmons was preceded in death by his biological mother, Dora Faye Exum; brother, Jimmy Simmons; and sisters, Sandy Boyd, and Sonja Bonham.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Clanton officiating.
