Dora Boatright

Mrs. Dora Boatright, 83 of Sparks passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Boatright was born May 23, 1938 to the late Robert & Rebecca Worley Chaney. She was born in Georgia, but lived in Florida most of her life. Mrs. Boatright was a sweet, generous, and loving person. She enjoyed talking to her children, loved to travel and loved doing laundry. She was the mother of seven children.

Survivors include her children, Jerry (Carol) Mitchell of Nelson, GA, Richard (Sandra) Boatwright of Woodstock, Ga, Manuel Boatwright of Fort Myers, Fl, Judy (John) Martin of Breman, Ga, Barbara (Terry) Kilpatrick of White Plains, GA, and Donna Hughes of Sparks; 26 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren; brothers, W. L. Chaney of Fl, and Charles Chaney of Fl; sisters, Susie Spradley of Tx, Annette Tiveron of Adel, Linda Chaney of Sparks, and Bobbie Faulkner of Fl. Mrs. Boatright was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Robert Boatwright; son, Bobby Boatwright; brother, Robert Chaney; and one sister, Ruby Sheffield.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponger Kays Grady Funeral Home in Arcadia, Florida. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 to 2:00 at the funeral home.
