Donald "Donnie" Moore, Jr.

Donald "Donnie" Moore, Jr., 72 of Adel passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta. He was born on January 15th, 1951 and was the son of the late Donald Moore, Sr and Ann Gaskins Moore. He lived much of his life in Cook County while retiring from a Sales career in various industries.  He was a life-long Atlanta Falcons fan and a lover of Chess.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Moore of Adel; children, Chase Moore and wife Marcela Moore of Adel, Andy and Kelly Womack of Cumming, Georgia; grandchildren, Ty and Mason Womack, both of Cumming; and three sisters: Martha Tucker of Adel, Carolyn Stone of Doerun, Georgia, and Sandy McDaniel of Adel: and one brother, Mike Moore of Doerun. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his daughter Melissa Ann "Missy" Moore of Adel: niece, Jennifer Stone of Doerun: cousins, Jerry Gaskins of Lakeland, Georgia, and Ricky Royals of Nashville, Georgia,

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at New Life Baptist Church with Rev. Scotty Mathis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Serving as pallbearers are Ty Womack, Mason Womack, Michael Stone, Will Stone, Chris Harper, and Noah Boykin.
