Dennis Wilson

Dennis Mitchel Wilson 67 of Quitman, GA passed away March 19, 2023 surrounded by his family after a battle with illness. He was born to Robert G. Wilson and Hazel Simpson Wilson on December 25, 1955. Dennis grew up in Brooks County with his one sister Cheryl Denmark (Sherwood) and 3 brothers Gary, Kevin (Shannon) and Terry Wilson (Marsy) Dennis and attended Westbrook School in Dixie, GA. He married Donna Edmondson on July 24, 1976 and he enlisted into The United States Air Force where he served for 15 years. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Dennis loved his family, and his Georgia Bulldogs. His parents Robert and Hazel Wilson, his brother Gary Wilson, preceded him in death.

Dennis is survived by his wife Donna Edmondson Wilson of Quitman; children, Suzanne Howell (Matt) of Quitman, Justin Wilson (Lorianne) of Quitman, Kelly Beaty (Joel) of Pavo, Emily, Alexia (Armarjae Mitchell), Sammy, Addison, Kole, Kade, Aliyah, and Zoe Wilson; grandchildren, Wilson Beaty, MacKenzie Wilson, Madison Wilson, Macie Wilson, Caroline Howell, J.K. Howell, A.J. Mitchell; sister- in- law, Erika Edmondson, Melissa E. Broome, and Brian Edmondson, along with nieces and nephews.

The family will be receiving friends Saturday March 25, 2023 from 12:30 PM- 1:30 PM followed by a celebration of life at Quitman First Baptist Church.
