Dennis Williams

Mr. Dennis Williams, 67 of Nashville passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Williams was born July 7, 1954 in Fitzgerald, GA. He was a member of Bethel Church Ministry and had retired from FedEx. Mr. Williams loved music and fast cars. He also loved watching the Georgia Bulldogs.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Jackie Dasher Williams of Nashville; children, Dene' (Chad) Moody of Pearson, Joanna (Shane) Padgett of Nashville, and John (Andrea) May of Sparks; grandchildren, Alisa Busbin of Montgomery, AL, Allyson Padgett of Atlanta, Chad Moody, Jr of Pearson, Jessalynn Merritt of Pearson, Andrew May of Sparks, Matthew May of Sparks, and Karrigen Moody of Pearson; great grandchildren, Abi Busbin of Montgomery, Al, and Maya Lovell of Birmingham, AL; mother, Mildred (Robert F.) Hinkle of Nashville; and one brother, Dannie (Trinda) Williams of Ocilla. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his father, J E Williams. 

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Scotty Mathis and Rev. Scott King officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Nashville. The family will be receiving friends from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
