David Walker

Mr. Thomas "David" Walker 62 of Tifton passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Mr. Walker was born November 3, 1957 in Tifton, GA. He served in the United States Army and he liked to fish, listen to music, and loved his dogs ad cats and gardening.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Baker Walker of Tifton; children, Jeffrey  Thomas (Ashlee) Walker of Tx, and Chase David Walker of Tifton; granddaughter, Sydney Walker; mother, Ruby Walker McCluskey of Tifton; brothers, Jehu "Buddy" Walker and (Shelly Young) of Tifton, and James E. "Jimmy" (Lori) Walker of Tifton. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his father, Jehu Walker.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakey Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Mr. Cal Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow at Oakey Grove Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
