David Lee VanBrackle

Mr.  David Lee VanBrackle, 72 of Lenox passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Langdale Hospice House.  Mr. VanBrackle was born January 6, 1947 to the late Ray & Helen O'Quinn VanBrackle.  He had an electrical engineering degree from the Middle College of GA and worked many years with Alltell and Bell South.

Survivors include his daughter, Staci (Jack) Howell of Lenox, and Lee VanBrackle of Lenox; four grandchildren, Kirsten Howell, Kaitlin Howell, Kinsley Howell and Parker Dennard; brother, Dennis (Sylvia) VanBrackle of Lenox; two nephews, Michael (Connie) VanBrackle, and Greg (Kim) Henderson; and one niece, Susie VanBrackle.  Mr. VanBrackle was preceded in death by one brother, Ray VanBrackle, Jr.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Newbern and Rev. Brian Gay officiating.  Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
