Daniel Weldon

Daniel Weldon, 50 of Moultrie passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024 at Colquitt Regional Hospital. Daniel was born May 15, 1973 to the late Cleveland & Lula Mae Touchton Weldon. He was a very friendly person and always enjoyed talking to people. Daniel was always involved in helping anyone in the community. He enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his family. 

Survivors include his wife, Jessica Weldon; children, Samuel, Johnathan, Caleb, Alexis, Sarah, Kyleigh, Josephine (Josie), and Mikayela; grandchildren, Avani, Caleb, Jr., Fynn, Lamar, and Patience; brothers, Cleveland Weldon, Jr, and Jerry Bob Weldon; and sisters, Margaret Tipton, and Becky Groves. Daniel was preceded in death by his daughter, Searah Weldon; and two brothers, Danny Weldon, and Michael Weldon.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery with Pastor Mitch Kitchens officiating. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Maxwell - Purvis Funeral Home.
