Clyde Lumpkin Obituary

Mr. Clyde Lumpkin, 93 of Valdosta passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Shands in Gainesville, FL. Mr. Lumpkin was born November 13, 1926 to the late Alton Lamar Lumpkin and Clyde Lois Lunsford. He served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Jewell E. Lumpkin of Valdosta; grandchildren, Chairty McCurdy, Eric Lumpkin, Erin Smith, Kristin Lumpkin, Melissa High, and Tabitha Lumpkin; several great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Mr. Lumpkin was preceded in death by his sons, Tommy Lumpkin, and Terry Lumpkin; granddaughter, Layla Lumpkin; grandson, T. J. Lumpkin; brothers, J. W. Lumpkin, and Bobby Lumpkin; and one sister, Carolyn Lunsford.

Services will be private.
