Charles "Andy" Anderson England

Mr. Charles "Andy" Anderson England, 64 of Quitman passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center. Andy was born September 10, 1957 in Thomasville to the late Charles  & Remelle Ellis England. He attended Quitman Church of God. Andy was a local business owner of Town and Country Furniture. He loved playing his guitar, singing, and riding on his tractor. Andy loved spending time with his family and friends and especially time with his grandchildren, who called him Pops. 

Survivors include his wife, Tammy England of Quitman; son, Austin (Raquel) England of Thomasville; grandchildren, Ayden, Audrey, and Anderson; sister, Pam (Morris) Hines of Quitman; stepbrother, Hal (Tammy) Kemp of Quitman; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Special companion, Tanner; his business partner and special family friend, Jimmy (Lynda) Striplin of Quitman. Andy was preceded in death by his stepmother, Frances England.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Steve Shierling officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Brooks County Touchdown Club, 1438 White Rd, Dixie, GA  31629. The service will be live stream on Maxwell - Purvis Funeral Home.
