Mr. Charles Thomas Crosby, 85 of Nashville passed away Monday, September 7, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Crosby was born March 30, 1935 to the late Seaburn and Bertha Roland Crosby. He served in the United States Army and retired from Martin Motors as an auto mechanic. Mr. Crosby also attended New River Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lou Anniie Crosby of Nashville; children, John Thomas (Lynn) Crosby of Nashville, Michael Charles (Cindy) Crosby of Cartersville, GA , William (Arlene) Crosby of Cumming, GA, and Richard Lee (Michele) Crosby of White, GA.; grandchildren, Kayla Hall, Tiffany Weaver, Matthew Crosby, and Collett Crews; great grandchildren, Noah Weaver, and Hannah Hall; sister in law, Janice Newell of Nashville; and brother in law, Thomas Exum of Valdosta. Mr. Crosby was preceded in death by his brother, Wilson Crosby.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at New River Holiness Church with Bro. Charles Connell and Bro. A. D. Connell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with military rites. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home.
